Looks like I may dust off my mesmer with renewed interest......
Did anyone else see this note in the updates:
Quote:
# After the conclusion of the weekend event, they (these certain updates) will be removed from the game again until the release of Guild Wars Nightfall.
- Updated the artificial intelligence of all henchmen.
........

So, for 3 days we get intelligent henches and then back to normal?

It's unlikely they'd leave the continent.

All those new necro skills sound really awesome. I was kinda hoping for a better elite minion skill than Jagged bones tho. I've always wanted a 'Reanimate' spell that let you rez undead versions of slain enemies to fight for you. On man, I can't wait until tonite!!

Since it is an elite, I'll go with combo of dust trap and choking gas...blinds and interupts with the ability to be spread to nearby allies.

I'm quite surprised that Necromancers will be the anti-Paragon Shout class.

yeah- you'd think a mesmer would be the anti-anything class... however- paragons do not use magic (in essence) so having the necromancer use anti shouts or whatever (didnt see the skill u reference yet) kind of makes sense.
paragons - holy power
necromancers - unholy power?
i dunno- kind of makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

Well just because it uses the words SILENCE doesn't mean it will be an anti-shout spell, though it could be. Another thing is mesmers could STILL have an anti-shout spell. We can't be sure until we see more info on these spells at the preview event.

The idea of Anthem of Power and The Power Is Yours for Paragon assuming that they include Anthem of Power from the preveiw, I'm betting that they cancel each other out, and four energy regeneration is actually more than enough if you think about it, I tried it out with something I cobbled together during the preview....

Healing Ring - Heal Area
Holy Intervention - Divine Intervention
Mending Touch - Healing Touch
Orison of Light - Orison of Healing
Renew Life - Restore Life
Reversal of Damage - Reversal of Fortune
Shield of Absorption - Shielding Hands?
Signet of Light - Signet of Devotion
Watchful Healing - Watchful Spirit
I hope I'm wrong. Really not looking forward to NF. They could also be completely different skills, and I hope so.
